Chef DamianD'Silva's Personal Contribution

Between 1997 and 1999, Damian worked in Italy and France where he acquired a foundation in European cooking. However, he knew his calling lay closer to home: in flavours he grew up with and which were close to the hearts of his fellow Singaporeans.

Through a succession of celebrated restaurants over two decades, Damian’s tireless advocacy now resides at Rempapa, where he seeks to connect with the young by making heritage food relevant and exciting to them.

Rempapa Bridges Time toConnect Generations

As a restaurant, it distills into a single dining experience a lifetime’s worth of advocacy, soul-searching and passion. On the menu are the classic heritage recipes of Damian’s Grandad, Grandma, Aunts and others.
At Rempapa, Chef Damian points the way forward. He showcases our magnificent culinary legacy, and also strives to make it relevant to the young because he realises that the key to its preservation lies with them.
